Tokyo, JapanâAugust 2025âTOPTOY, one of Asiaâs leading collectible toy and blind box retailers, is officially landing in Japan with its first-ever physical store in Tokyo.TOP TOY will pre-open on August 27, 2025, followed by a grand opening on August 30, 2025, inside Sunshine City ALPA 2F (3 Chome-1 Higashiikebukuro, Toshima City, Tokyo 170-8630).
This marks a major milestone for TOPTOY (ăăăăă€), as fans across Japan have long searched for where to buy its popular blind boxes and collaborative collections with Sanrio, Disney, Nommi, and Winnie the Pooh (ăăŒăă). Starting this summer, Sunshine City in Ikebukuro will be the official destination for TOPTOY Japan.
What to Expect at the Tokyo Grand Opening
The Tokyo Sunshine City store will debut with:
- Exclusive Blind Boxes â Special limited designs available only in Japan.
- Grand Opening Gifts â Shoppers will receive special gifts with select purchases.
- Nommi Series Exclusive â A Japan-first showcase of the highly anticipated Nommi collection, available only during the opening period.
Special Entry Rules for the Nommi Series
Due to high demand, TOPTOY will introduce an entry ticket system (æŽçćž) for customers who wish to purchase the Nommi collection during the grand opening.
- æŽçćž distribution starts at 8:30 AM daily at Sunshine City.
- Tickets are handed out in sequential order (50 per hour).
- Customers with æŽçćž can enter at the time slot printed on the ticket for priority purchase.
- Customers not purchasing Nommi items may enter by queuing in a designated area.
- Depending on crowd levels, entry restrictions or adjustments may apply. Customer safety will always remain the top priority.
